Aspen is a mountain town chic, with its beautiful scenery and stunning ski slopes. "The Aspen Mountain" has steep slopes, narrow and sports net stopping the terraces of bars in the open. Aspen is actually a group of four stations. Out of town, Aspen Highlands is a blend of extreme skiing and downhill super fast (at the top, climb aboard the shuttle snowmobile, then leave for 40 minutes hike to the top of Highlands Bowl). Besides, is Buttermilk ski area for beginners, popular with surfers and locals, the days of poudreuse.Elle also hosts games extreme sports "Winter X Games." A few miles Snowmass is located (see below) also served by a free bus.
