There are luxury hotels and there are Beaver Creek, a luxury
resort: heated sidewalks, outdoor escalators to take you to the
slopes and hotels smarter than each other.
Nice shops and great restaurants abound and there are great
downhill runs fast, long and pristine, from one end to another
station: a long journey that will make you go through Bachelor
Gulch (which designed the Ritz-fairytale Carlton while logs and
stone) to reach the village of Arrowhead, a satellite community
at the foot of a huge descent. Bachelor Gulch is not the sole
preserve of wealthy vacationers and nonchalant. Try the course
of Birds of Prey downhill skiing. The station is a significant
size - rush down in one go to the village of Arrowhead - and
still growing. At night, you will find many great restaurants
located in "huts" at the height of the mountains - go to Beano's
Cabin drawn sleigh rides, for a dinner at altitude. The new
Riverfront Express gondola from the town of Avon (along the
I-70) and provides access to the slopes without a car to get to
the station.
