Denver, the capital of Colorado is known as the "Mile High City." The climate is excellent, with 300 days of sunshine a year, ahead of San Diego and Miami. Visitors can enjoy golf in the morning and spend the afternoon on the slopes, a little over an hour away. Denver is no shortage of attractions. The center "Lower Downtown" (or LoDo), boasts the largest concentration of buildings in the country of the Victorian era, which today are home to shops, hundreds of pubs, cafes, restaurants and nightclubs. From there, free shuttles down the street 16th Street Mall, a long "mile" and closed to traffic, which together with shops, restaurants, bars, terraces, historic buildings with skyscrapers behind the scenes, to the imposing "Capitol" and its golden dome. Denver offers a number of art galleries and fascinating museums, sporting events and cultural, as well as many other attractions and restaurants.
